My name is Ameerah Shabazz-Bilal and I am a visual artist from Newark, NJ and I love telling stories through poetry and Visual Arts.
I have exhibited my work throughout northern and central New Jersey in various prestigious galleries. My work has been featured in several venues in The Newark Arts Festival over the past years.
I am a Teacher, Writer/Author/Illustrator, Poet, Photographer, and Visual Arts Specialist, founder/facilitator of 2 spoken word venues- “When Women Speak” and “When People Speak” .
